My mom and grandma would spend all morning (very early in the morning)in the kitchen in preparation for their guests; some dishes were even made days ahead. Good ol' fashioned down home cookin' always takes time and always tastes the best... take in the aroma, savor the flavor. I do believe you have prepared a feast here, my friends.
