Gratitude and Graduation

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

I would like to begin this newly formulated post with a heaping helping of appreciation to our good friend Corey Brown whose expert abilities and knowledge were graciously applied to the creation of our new and beautiful website. It would be rather difficult to described everything that Corey does, because he’s a pretty busy guy (being the COO of squidoo.com is one of his many gigs.) So, instead of trying to give you a bullet-point overview of his life, it would be just as easy to let Corey introduce himself – through his work. Below are three links that will help you get to know Corey, and will also give you a chance to appreciate some of his other fine endeavors. Without further ado, I give you Corey Brown:

Now, as much as we appreciate Corey and his hard work, I couldn’t let this post slip by without mentioning the current victorious accomplishment of our very own, cute-as-a-button bass player. On Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at roughly 7:45 PM, Ethan officially graduated High School! We’re awfully proud of the little guy! To celebrate, he and I traveled to Nashville, TN for the weekend to visit friends and try to relax as much as possible. So, if you see Ethan, give him a hug and buy him a [Chipotle] burrito. He deserves both. (He deserves 20 just for sitting through that ridiculous ceremony!)

Friends young and old. Greetings from Stereoland. (Where all your binaural dreams come true!) We’ve been busy doing summer things like jumping over sprinklers and defending our domiciles from marauding raccoons. (What they want with used diapers, we’ll never know.)

Even with all of the summer celebrations and defenses we find time to play music…and lots of it. We’re still play every Sunday night, most Tuesdays and a fair number of Fridays and Saturdays.

We’re excited about an upcoming gig were playing with Restless Street on July 24th. It’ll be at Blue Ridge Bible Church in Purcellville, VA. Get your tickets here.
